Recent Samples Tested:
The results of the tests conducted on the Driver One, Premier, Formula 300, and Simply Done samples meet the SAE J300 specifications for the SAE Viscosity Grade listed on the product labels, and are consistent with the listed API Service Categories.
It is important to note, however, that although the labels on the Premier Full Synthetic, and Simply Done products tested display the API marks, the companies shown on the labels do not hold a license with API and therefore, the products, as labeled, are not licensed to display the API marks. Consumers are cautioned that use of a motor oil that is not API licensed could void a vehicle’s warranty.
