Afton’s Dave DiBerto Joins PQIA Advisory Board

Metuchen, NJ – March 9, 2020 – The Petroleum Quality Institute of America is pleased to announce that Dave DiBerto, North American Sales Director, Afton Chemical Corporation has joined the PQIA Advisory Board (AB). Dave succeeds Ian Macpherson who represented Afton on the AB for the past several years. 

Dave joined Afton in 1994 as an Engineer in the company’s Technical Fuels Group. Throughout his career with the company, Dave has held various roles in Sales, Marketing, and Technical Service. Prior to joining Afton, Dave worked as a Sequence VE Test Engineer for Texaco Additives Company.

Dave earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Clarkson University in 1989. Dave is a native of Wappingers Falls, New York, and currently resides in Richmond, VA, with his wife and three children. He enjoys running and vacationing with his family.

The PQIA Advisory Board includes representatives from major additive companies, major and independent lubricant manufacturers, lubricant marketers, and the recently announced addition of General Motors, Richard Blakeley.”
